Icing on the Cake!

This event combines creativity with Philanthropy, as your group decorates cakes and designs cards that are ultimately donated to a local non-profit organization.

Teams are given a theme and they will participate in a variety of Minute to Win It types of challenges in order to “win” sheet cakes and different icings and decorations to use in order to design colorful layer cakes.

Each team will also receive arts and crafts to design a large greeting card. Because each team will be decorating a cake AND creating a large card, teammates will also need to choose a strategy for working on the different elements.

At the conclusion of the event, the teams will vote to determine the best cake and card. The cakes and cards are then donated to a local Ronald McDonald House, Boys & Girls Club, elderly home or other community organization.
