But Wait, There's More! (Making Infomercials)

Our Infomercial event adds another creative layer to the team building/filming experience. In addition to writing, shooting, filming and acting, your group actually begins this event by designing and building a product!

At the start of the event, each team will be given an identical set of supplies and a walkie-talkie. They will then be escorted to different locations, where they will have approximately 30 minutes to design their products with the given supplies. The catch: All of the teams must build the exact same product and can communicate with the other teams using only their walkie-talkies (they will be too far from one another to see each others' work).

Once the products have been designed, each team will be given instructions to write and shoot a one-minute segment of a larger, overall Infomercial. Each team will be given a theme for their segment of the infomercial. For instance, one group might have "Kid Friendly" as their theme; another might have "Low Carb", etc. Each group will be given an allotted amount of time to write and shoot their one-minute segment of the infomercial. Each team will also be told to end their segment with the words, "But wait, there's more..."

After all the segments have been shot, our editors will edit them all together, (connected by "but wait, there's more..."), creating one infomercial highlighting all of the different "selling points" of the same product (that might or might not look the same in each segment!).

As with our movie and commercial making events, the final edited infomercial will be ready to view either later that day or the following day for your entire group. We can provide an MC and "Celebrity Judges" to give out awards for Best Infomercial, Actor, or anything you'd like!
