Mini Golf Scramble

This is the perfect team building event for golf fans and novices alike. Teams are given supplies and a limited amount of time to build a miniature golf hole. Their holes will include hills, tunnels, and obstacles, as well as the traditional fake grass to give them a true mini-golf feel. This event is designed to get teams working together right from the start, as they can choose to use only their team supplies, or work out a trade with some of the other teams to get additional materials. The entire group must also work together to incorporate the course theme that must be displayed at every hole.

Of course, once the holes are built, the teams get a chance to actually play the course they just created! Also, teams choose players to compete in the various individual challenges we set up, such as the "longest drive" and the "screwball putt."

At the conclusion of the event, team scores are combined and a team award is given for the best overall score. Individual challenge awards are also given out, as well as specific team design awards to reinforce the importance of the building activity.
